Based on the spirit Kaonashi, one of the main characters of the film 'Spirited Away', by Hayao Miyazaki.

Kaonashi is a ghostly character which is partly transperent, so I took it as an inspiration for other "see through" elements in nature and human life - in the form of jellyfishes and x-ray examinations.
