Hello!

My name is Aya Gil.

I'm 26 years old, from Lapid, Israel.

4th year student of fashion design in Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art.

I was born in Tokyo, Japan and i'm half Japanese and half Israeli.

Ever since I can remember, I love to draw.

Growing up, I liked to watch Japanese cartoons and films. I started drawing in the same style, finding special interest in the character's outfits and fabrics. Since then I continued to expand and grow with my drawing skills.

 

In my military service, I was a graphic designer.

For two years I dealt with different graphical tasks on a computer moslty, using Photoshop and Illustrator as my main tools.

 

Later on, I took a professional course and obtained a graphic designer certificate from Shenkar.

 

As I was always interested in the fashion world and wanted to grow as a designer, I decided to take on fashion design.

I find equal joy in designing both women's and men's clothes. My designs are often influenced by Japanese culture, minimalism and clean lines.
